Is it just me or are they're ALOT more ricers now that fast and the furious came out?
It doesn't help that Schuck's has a shelf of APC crap, and K-Mart/Walmart have the rest of the "cool" stuff.

What I REALLY don't get is why ricers put aluminum GT wings and "euro tails" on their car and then claim they do it so they don't look like every other Honda on the street, but then they get together and ever freakin "custom" car in the group looks the same. ????

Mysterious... hrmm.. I haven't tried the getting out of the car bit before... I do usually pull over when I know I'm nailed and wait for the cop... and always get my stuff out before-hand so he doesn't have to wait when he gets up to the car.

And oh yeah... honesty does work best with cops. All day long they have to put up with people denying that they were speeding, and giving them a hard time, so sometimes when you're just straight up, no bs.. and don't act intimidated... they tend to give you a break.

Oh, and my all-time favorite... cop pulled me over for 78 in a 45 in my volvo... asked me if I knew how fast I was going, and I said, "I'm not sure... my spedometer only goes up to 110." he cracked up... no ticket.

I have a beat up old Maroon 78 Bonneville, it will go about 120+ without to much trouble. Seems that I could roll right past the cops doin whatever and never get pulled. I passed one doin about 90 in a 65, he never even looked. I guess it was the stealth paint and special parts on it or something...lol.

LMAOROTF....

Yeah it was a really cool car, beat a 305 5 spd IROC with it one night, stoplight to stoplight. Pulled a fender on the kid after he reved at me. I guess he never suspected that big ol car to move like it did.... Still it was a family car and slow maybe low 15's or so with a tailwind.

I love it when ppl think they have more car than what they have. Raced a 1996 Mustang GT in my 1997 Maxima. I wasn't stock but only had a few mods done. It was terribly amusing to see the look on the guys face......and his gf's.

Yeah those Maxima's move for a big car.  What makes it funny is your Maxima should have 190 hp and his Stang should be in the 215-220 range.  I know all about Nissan's seeing as I used to own one.  I really like the 02-03 6 spd. SE's with 255 hp.

My Maxima just has a hybrid intake and some larger exhaust, so that means, in ricer terms, im pushing 260hp right?
