Ok so I recently found out that I have my ac fluid dripping down onto my exhaust manifold, is that a bad thing or does it matter since the manifold is so hot it just evaporates??

In the long run it may cause an exhaust leak right there and you will have to either get new headers, or just get it welded up... but there is nothing you can do to prevent it really.

Mine does the same thing and right now you shuldnt worry about it. Over time you might have a leak that you can either replace the headers, or weld them like Daytripper said.

Well actually i just fixed it earlier i found a little pipe that fits in the hole perfectly and it goes down past the manifold and onto the ground

You're not worried that that thing is going to fly out and take out someone's eye?

Wow... SOOOO much bad info in this thread.

It's not A/C fluid. It's just water. Condensation. Hot air on the cold compressor makes condensation. It's not gonna crack the exhaust manifold. They'll do that on their own.

It's not A/C fluid. You'd know if your car was leaking freon. lmao

ford has a TSB out on that and actualy has a kit with a ford part number that comes with new pip and istruction on how to fix the cracks and a shield that actualy catches the water and runs it down and drops it onto the ground so it doesnt drip on the header and mid pipe flange
