Default Candy Apple Red

Saw the '08 Candy Apple Red Mustang today at the dealers. I wasn't too impressed. Could have been the angle of the sun, but it looks more in the burgundy hue.....darker than the other reds Ford has.
They had a Torch Red and Red Fire too.....they looked much better IMO.

To me redfire is darker and more bergundy-ish than candy apple red. I've seen candy apple in person and I think it's quite nice. It's almost an in-between color between redfire and torch red.

Did you look at the Red Fire beside the Candy Apple Red? All three colors were sitting beside each other in the lot andthe C-A-P looked much darker.

Ford doesn't actually have a color called "Candy Apple Red" on the '08 Mustangs.

it'scalled "Dark Candy Apple Red", and it is just that: dark.

Pretty disappointing imho. A really bright metallic red would have been stunning on these cars.

I agree......too dark, even though the Dark Candy Apple Red does have metallic flakes in it.

Now if they would come out with a Midnight Blue Metallic Mustang that would be hot!
