Yamaha Banshees are fast as hell, I used to own one. My buddy Josh Duckworth has a banshee that will run over 110 MPH easy. He has over 10000 in the motor alone not including the other 15 to 18000 dollars spent on the body and frame. He has the fastest 4 wheeler I have ever seen in my life.

Banshee's used to be fast and competitive, they are not anymore. BTW, why does he want it to run 110 mph, there would be no use for that in any form of quad racing? I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but 10k in the motor, and 18 in the frame and suspension? plus 4k for the quad.. thats 32k. I know my stuff when it comes to quad racing, and anyone who invest 32k in a quad wasted A LOT of money, especially if it was on a banshee

The Banshe that was running the 1/4 at my track was bumpin the rev limiter at the end of the run - Im sure it woulda went alot faster if it was geared for top speed. personally....damn 100+ mph on a 4 wheeler is fast dont matter who you are... but I don't see how modding one out like that could cost more than a few k

There can be a lot of money dumped into a quad. Think 6k for the motor, 4 k for suspension. Swing arm, a-arms, frame, wheels, tires, handle bars, exhaust, chain, sprokets, etc.... Basically, the hardcore racers will replace every part on the quad.

The exhuast i have on my quad was 300 for the silencer and 200 for the head pipe. Thats more expensive than cars exhuast and u just get a silencer for 300.

Agreed. Factory bikes/quads are only like 6k more and they are fast as ****.

Yup, I did alot to my Banshee. Most suspension, like longer axles, aluminum wheels, shocks. I don't drag race it, LMAO. But it tears the shizz out of the desert and I catch mad air on the doubles.
