I think the PP is 'worth it' too. Yes as confirmed above, the '07 does have sway bar(s), though I was thinking it was just the rear sway bar not the front one too? I can see the rear one walking up to the car from the rear but I've never been under it to visually verify the front one.
I know for sure the '08 PP has a GT front and rear stabilizer bars. Like you said, we can see our rear sway bars....not sure about the front though.
i think (according to service guy) GT front and rear sway bars, ABS TCS he told it also has gt shocks struts and control arms.....i looked and do have the control arms....wether the the other stuff is really on there or not.... GT shocks struts etc....im constantly asked what kind of mustang it is...and by allmeans add dual exhaust....i added magnaflows and its my only performancem od as my car is a daily driver....maybe a cai and a tune when shes paid off....you dont see many on the road, and looove my front end....with the front chin spoiler i added and painting the rocker panels she has that old school look....you can do a lot with them....from the front she looks fast (and is) from the side she looks elegant and from the back retro......all toghether its a modern retro look....in my gallery i added trim on the back windows tail lights, side markers (back) and the window washer squirters....imi constantly aksed what kind of mustang it is and how old school it looks.....
Love my '07 PP as well and YES it's totally worth it. You can't do all those mods for the amount the pkg costs. I agree that I like the PP grille better than the GT. I also like the 07 rear spoiler that comes with it better than the GT spoiler. I think it looks sleeker and cleaner lines keeping a low profile. But then again just like everything else it's all personal opinion.
It's only worth it if you are sure you won't ever be swapping out the front bumper for something different. GT take off sway bars and Bullitts are cheap if you want to add them to a V6 premium ...
when i bought mine, they didnt have one without the pp. they also didnt have a GT with a standard tranny all autotrans. thats what swade me to get mine. i love the look, and the looks she gets all over the place. i always get asked about it and get nothing but complements every time i go out. its like driving a super car. is the pony pack worth it? you bet it is.

I'm looking to get an 05-07 'stang. Curious if the pony package is worth it. I realize 06 is probably the best pony package year as it comes with the GT sway bars. If I got a 'stang without the pony package, how much would it cost to add the fog lights and grill? Is it a hard install?
I dont know why some misinformed think ponies have GT sways. Once again its schoolin time. V6 front sway 31.5mm Pony front sway 31.5mm GT front sway 34mm V6 rear sway - NA Pony rear sway 18mm GT rear sway 20mm
Get a V6 and swap to true OEM GT takeoff sways and get Poly bushings for the install. No anti-lock crapola on the V6 and the traction control will just end up pissing you off. Pony grills look girly but the presence of the Fog switch, wiring and SJB programming are a plus for adding a GT style grill with the 6" fogs. Could go either way, just be fully informed before making that purchase.

Sure you can do all those mods for the PP cost. You know you cant how? I know because I did it. Click the link below and enjoy the pics of a V6 that became a Pony. Even better than a Pony because I DID IT. Gotta love eBay.....

Yea, if you're looking to just do burnouts and doughnuts to try to impress chicks then ABS and TCS would be 'crapola' to you and set off your obvously flash-fire temper. For those of us who use our cars to actually get us to and from places actually like the improved safety that ABS gives you. If we want to do an occasional burnout we know how to hit that 'off' switch on TCS, no big deal. I guess the old school mustangs with the pony and corral grills were all driven by a bunch of girly-men too.
And just FTR I wasn't one that said my pony had GT sways, just sways period. I've never seen documentation that stated they were the same as the GT ones so I don't quote what I don't know to be true.
Ponies are for people with more $$ than brains. I like to be able to modulate my brakes myself, thank you. Race cars have TCS and ABS? Think not. I like to drive my stang and not have it drive me. And just FTR I didnt say you were the one quoting ponys have GT sways. Hop off the mad wagon before you get run over. Real men know how to apply the power without TCS and stop without ABS.

I think clearly the difference here is that you want a race machine, I want a fast, hot car that goes from A to B. I may mod it up some but it will never be a track car for me. And the other difference is that I don't feel the need to offend people that have differing opinions from me. I'm certain I didn't call anything you've got on your car crapola, say that you use your wallet rather than your brain or call you a sissy.
So again I go back to my original statement regarding this post's original question.....it depends on what you're looking for if the PP is worth it.

This is a genius that compares street cars to race cars OK!! If I wanted a race car I would build one not buy a production V-6 Mustang!! As for "real men" .... Real men have their manhood where it belongs in their pants not in their car. Looks like someone is lacking!!

Plus you get what you want in the end and nothing you dont. Do you really need the forum to make up your mind for you? Do what makes you happy.
