I had a 'friend' run the VIN through AutoCheck (Experian equivalent to CarFax). Report came back clean (no accidents/problems/fraud claims). Titled in Garwood, NJ 2/00, Watchung, NJ 3/04 and Parlin, NJ8/04. AutoCheck sometimes doesn't contain the same information as CarFax, but it's what most dealers (and wholesalers) use.
i hate carfax, paid 20 or 30 bucks to carfax my v6 before i bought it because it said it had 4 'reports' but it wouldnt tell me them unless i paid so i paid it was
