When I drive my Mustang hard, as in smoke and high rev shifts, donuts ect.....I feel as I have abused it and feel bad that I may have damaged it! I take it home and check it over and usually wash it and then park it to let it cool off till next time!
Some people say it is a muscle car and it wants to be driven hard, Some people just say I am a pussy and should drive it or just sell it??

It's kind of like when you beat your wife/gf, then buy them a gift or are really nice to them afterwards to make up for it. Totally joking- I don't participate in or endorse that in any way.
Idon't think amuscle car is different in concept than any other car. If you beat the crap out of it, it will probably break. If you just engage in a little spirited driving, it will probably hold up decently. I would just keep those two likely scenarios in mind, and you can make an educated decision for yourself. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. Drive it however you want, and be prepared for the corresponding outcome.
I haven't even done a burnout yet. Probably never will. Don't like the idea of stressing the driveline and peeling off rubber for a couple seconds of "fun".

Yeah me to, I don't like abusing my car. The harder you are on your car the more likely you are to break something. I've been good to my baby by not mistreating her, and she has repaid me by not making me take her into the dealer even one single time in the year and eight months i've had her. Its called mutual respect...lol
