my passenger side quarter panel window wont go up and has trouble going down you can press the button and it will make a weird noise like the little motor is moving but its not really connected to the window
what do yall think it is? im thinking a solenoid or its gotten off track or somthing im probably gonna have to scrap it down to actually see it because its kinda hard to see whats wrong through the little rubber weatherstripping
normally i wouldnt be too worried seeing as i live in georgia and weve had a drought all summer but of course now where getting rain and thunderstorms so im pretty much screwed
does it sound like its grinding? or its runnig normally? like you said it might jus be off track or sumthin. i took out my back seats and panels and sorry to say i dont think u can get to the window still, im not positive but ill check and see for ya

take a little hammer and hit the track while holding the up button on the window switch. somebody on the forum just told me to do it and it worked!!!! but mine was a driver window, hopefully it'll work for you. It might be a gear that went out.
Sounds like a gear for sure. Not positive on the sn's but the fox has a replacement gear only, or complete unit from 50 Resto. The gears are plastic and dry out and crack over time.

It sounds like the 3 round "units" are broken. If you take the motor off of the track you, under the gear there is 3 round pieces with a triangle shape piece. It is common that the 3 round pieces break. You can get new ones at advanced auto in the "help" section.
yeah, its probably the little triangular pieces inside the motor that have dryrotted/broken. you can get a new set of them for like $6 or so. shouldnt take more than about an hour to take everything apart and replace them and put everything back in.
