instead of saleens, maybe you should get a cam.  get out of the visual only mentality and get some real power in that thing.  the 5.0 has lots of potential with a cheap aftermarket.

you have a v8 that you're going to be putting some serious power down with.  the 5.0 is no slouch when it comes to mods and you're going to need something more than street tires.  which i'm assuming what is on those rims.  i'd say screw it and just buy some Nittos for the back tires.

+1, when you start doing power mods, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, get upper/lower control arms, stock control arms for 5.0s suck royal balls as it's nearly impossible to keep your ass straight when lauching with stockers.

What you want to do if great for a begginer, but after that, I'd work on getting H/C/I work and or just going right for the S/C, just remember, 94-95 5.0s are very specific, as they're a little different from 87-93 models, so make sure you're getting the right stuff. Generally the H/C/I mods are all the same (minus SVT Cobra and SVO GT-40 options) but ignition, cooling, drive accessories, superchargers, and a few other things, are totally different from 87-93 5.0s, on the flip side, breaks, suspension options, drive train, and seval other things are totally different from 96-98 models.
