This is probably a stupid question.

I am striping the interior and I cannot find the bolts that hold the front seats in.

Where are they located?

Thanks for your help

I don't know if the year matters or not, but at least on my 67' there is rubber plugs underneath the car below the seats that when you take those out there is bolts about 3" up into the actual car. Undo those and the seat should lift right out

Thanks guys,

I looked under the car and figured that might be the case!

Another question, I got the car fired up today and when giving gas it backfired thru the carb. I don't have alot of experience with carbed engines so I need some help here!

The car has very old gas in the tank, is this the prob?

Also, there is a line attached to the choke thingy that travels down to the engines left side (from the front) it is open to the air but it seems to have gone somwhere b-4. I can find no open lines to attach to this line and it has a heat shield kinda covering over it!.

Any help would be appreciated,

I told you I was gonna be a pain.
