1986 mustang lx/gt hatch street car
"it's lighter than a notch, and faster than a cobra"
-306ci,(302 0.030 over), holley 750 holley carb 4bbl, edelbrock "torker 289" intake, world aluminum heads($1500 new), ford racing chrome valve covers, roller rockers, new pushrods,lifters,seals,etc, big cam, scat crank, harmonic balancer, shorty headers, new water pump, new alternator, new gatorback belt, no p/s(deleted), no a/c(whole system deleted), nitrous is hooked up w/new braided lines(bottle needs to be filled),msd pro billet distributor,msd cap and rotor, msd coil, super stock wires, new plugs,new brake booster,new radiator, electric fan,fresh oil change(25 miles ago)
-c4 tranny, shift kit,3500 stall converter,new trans cooler, shifts good, newer driveshaft, safety loop, rear sway bar, stock rear just beefed up, 4:11 gears, fluid just changed, even w/the big gears it's fine on the highway
-straight pipe, w/true dual flowmasters turn downs(loud), inline holley fuel pump, new lines, 8gal fuel cell(stock tank deleted),automatic shut off switch
-new cobra r rims(silver), with good tires, new disc brakes up front, good drums in rear
-interior is great, 2 non-reclining racing seats(new), new black carpet, big operating tach, temp/oil/nitrous operating guages outside windsheild, gas guage doesn't work, no seat belts, sniper nitrous system bolted up behind passanger seat,rear seats deleted,new door panels, all glass is good besides windsheild, b&m shifter, msd 6al box and multi retard box(for nitrous) mounted in front of passanger seat, new dash pad,new 1100 amp battery mounted in battery box in rear, 8 gallon fuel cell in rear also
-body is great, no dents, but does have your normal parking lot dinks, newer paint, not fading, but paint job isnt the best, needs to be wet sanded and touched up in some places(mostly the hatch), lx taillights, tear drop hood, all lights are functional for road use,wiper system deleted (but rain x works), new door handles, doors do not sag!!, hatch cylinder pumps are new(stays up by itself)
-the car's needs:windsheild(spider crracked), carb adjustment, paint if you think its needed,seat belts
-i have access to an 1986 gt, t-top 5.0/5spd car, but my friend is parting it out, its all there, it has stock seat belts that you could use, but i wanted 5pts, my car doesn't really need anything part wise
my car has over $10k invested, the stang has a clear fl title ready to sign over, she is street legal, i drive it to car shows locally, have trophys to prove, runs good,looks awesome, doesnt leak/burn any oil,coolant,etc,
must see this car to appreciate,really a nice piece,i urprised it hasn't sold yet, come over and check it out and drive it, i will also throw in a pair of hoosier slicks(new tubes) and a spare 10-hole rim and tire with purchase
