im in tinley park, about 25 minutes away from Route 66- where exactly is byron? but i dont think it would be a good idea to come since my car is bone stock...

You have no worrys there are plenty of cars that will be there that you can run with
currently, who is coming for sure that you have Doodad? I'd go to just see what my current times would be without any mods (except axleback). I am still trying to clear things up, and make sure I'll have some extra dough, been spending a lot of cash lately. a LOT of it.....hahahah. Should be fun as hell....

I drive a truck and I've been past Great lakes . I stick mostly to Milan, Norwalk, Grand Bend (ontario.) I'll be in Grand Bend this weekend at the Windsor Weekend. Last year 400 cars and 8000 people came through the gates. Pretty big event I guess

This sounds like it would be a fun event. I would love to join if your don't mind the non-Mustang.... I just need to check with my boss (at least she thinks she is) and I'll post back this evening. Are any of the folks on here looking to get a room. I'd be up for splitting the cost??

guys, you either have a 9 sec car or 19 sec car. it doesn't matter. this is not for braking records. we just wanna get together and have some fun. it is all about driving our cars down to 1/4 mile, BS about cars between runs and have fun.

I was a little worried about that, but I'm sure your car and mine are probably neck n neck. We'll have to see. (Ha-ha-ha) I just got the OK from the boss and I'm in. Unfortunatly, this is my daily driver so I won't make a ton of passes but I will make my share. Next week I've got a few things going on the car (nothing huge) and a new dyno/road tune. I'm hoping for this particular dyno I can get over the 400whp mark. I'm shooting for at least 410-415. This has been a personal goal of mine with this particular dyno because it's known as the heartbreaker. Guy's with over 400 on this dyno are running 10's but I'm sure there much better drivers then me. I'd be happy with an 11.2 :)
If anyones thinking of getting a room Saturday night and wants to split the cost, please let me know. I'm always up for saving money!
