Its a 4 hour drive from lafayette according to mapquest, could be fun though.........

I will try to attend, hopefully I can go up to my buddies in southern wisconsin on saturday and spend the night otherwise I'd hafta wake up at like 5am to make it there...... and us41 should be open by then but ill see about it and try to come

hey guys, is it possible to change it to union grove? They have a very good track there, and it is much closer for everyone. For JD, from lockport to union grove is about 89 miles. From lcokport to byron is close to 100 miles. From joliet to union grove is 94 miles, and about 120 miles from joliet to byron. It is really far to go to byron. I can call union grove and ask if they can have a lane designated for us. Let me know what you guys think. Send me a PM.

Great Lakes Dragway is not having Fun racing on sept. 23 Sunday. they have somethingelse is going on. Also, Byron is 88miles away from my house and GLD is 98 miles. I don't really mind going to GLD but they are very slow, sometimes they use only 1 lane. Their tech told me that they are not gonna make run if i don't have driveshaft safety loop next time.
Byron is having 16 door slammers that day and track WILL hook!
as i said, i wouldn't mind GLD but they are not having fun racing that day and they won't let me run without that safety loop! let me kow if you can mke to byron with us

I know you are close to 41 but if you can make to this event. it should be fun!

Byron aye...might have to come up and show you the guys who have never seen one what a stock LS1 looks like. :)
I will check my schedule and let you know...as long as I am not pulling a 12hour medic shift I should be good.
