6x8 and 5x7 are the same, either way its listed from your dealer of choice you will be fine with either size. They all fit in your cutout. No mod required.

If you want a good aftermarket system, tell us your budget and what type of music you listen to.

ok so i am going to be puttin boston acoustics front and back the sl series speakers up front and the s series in the rear. Would it be better to get an amp from boston or is it ok to get lets say an amp from alpine or kenwood with the same power but for a lower price?

Nor anything from Alpine.

Some of their Excelon stuff I have used before and it's not to bad.

Boston amps are pretty damn clean, and pretty expensive at the same time.
