Default trying to find the right speakers...

Hows it going guys this is my first post on this forum ad hopefull i can get some help. This summer my girlfriend got a 2004 gt mustang and it has the stock speakers and system in it still which sound horrible. I have been looking at speakers for her and the ones i have found are the inifnity KAPPA682.7CF 6x8 100 wattrms 300peak watts. Does anyone know if these are any good and if not which ones would you reccommend. What size amp would i need to get the best power out of these speakers or any other speakers tat i might put in? We already have a head unit in mind and she does not want any subs so any help would be great thanks. Also i have been thinking about the mach 460 system for her can anyone tell me where i can find that and a price range on it maybe?

Welcome to the forum.

You will be able to learn much in this section of the forum. As seight mentioned, we need some clarity.

Budget, musical preference, and scope are very nice to have.

Sorry forgot to mention that important stuff lol.. she listens to some rap and a little bit of rock but mostly her girly music lol looking to get some go0od highs and decent lows outta the speakers. Trying to replace the door and rear deck speakers. This is what i prefer outta speakers hard hitters in the rear and great treble and highs in the front but with still some decent bass and treble in the front in back. Buget wise trying not to spend too too much but let me hear what you guys have to say about everything could always spend a few extra bucks to get the better quality. Thanks

This is basically the same recommendation I made in the other post....

Here is a great little setup if you don't already have an aftermarket HU.

HU - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_I D=4951$210

Fronts - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_I D=5207$99 (You should have front 6x8's and you can make an adapter very easily to make these work)

Amp - http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2213$93 (woofersetc.com will price match)

Sub - http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/product_info.php?cPath=1_21&products_id=31$100 (Dual 2 ohm)

Wiring Kit - $20 at wal mart (You will also need one more RCA)

Box stuff - $40 at most at Home depot.

That comes in at $562 and is an awesome setup for the money, but it has a sub. (A sub is much betterat producing bass then any mid woofer)

If you don't want a sub.....

HU - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_I D=4951$210

Fronts - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_I D=5207$99 (You should have front 6x8's and you can make an adapter very easily to make these work)

Rears - http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=3077$99 (if you can fit 6x9's and you should)

Amp - http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2213$93 (woofersetc.com will price match)

Wiring Kit - $20 at wal mart (You will also need one more RCA)

You could also try to use the stock HU, but why have a poor singal to begin with...

That totals $521.
