Does anyone know a site that has good deals on 2000 mustang gt hood scoops. I have a 2000 v6 mustang and want the gt hood scoop. I can only find 05-07 on google and ebay. I'm posting it here b/c i see alot of people w/ the hood scoop on their v6. Thanks

F*** eBay! Get a quality hood scoop. You can get a polyurethane color-matched hood scoop at the link below. Or you can get the non-painted version for cheaper.

dont put a gt scoop on a 6cyl vented hood looks tacky IMO but you should just get the whole gt hood and make it look right instead

What the hell mate? They're the same, once you put the GT scoop on the sixer hood, you can't see the old vent/grill thing.

damn guys, didnt know a thread about a gt hood scoop could have so much bad info.

the ebay ones are good, find one that came off of a GT, if you dont want one off ebay you can get them for 150 brand new from ford in primer. i can give you the link if you want it. the stock gt hood scoop is plastic, those "quality" polyurithate scoops are a total f*cking rip off. they are some aftermarket crap that sticks on with tape. and "screws for a perminate instilation". get the stock gt scoop that uses 7 bolts to hold it down. and the last thing, the gts HAVE v6 hoods on them, the scoop mounts over the stock v6 grill and fits perfectly in the receses off the hood, its how ford did it on every single one of the gts, its how you can do it on your 6er. that being said, good luck finding one and if you cant like i said, i can give you a link for a brand new one for 150.

well im sorry geez cut my balls off already im sorry i made a mistake gah you hurt my fukin feelins now dam (HAHA) i was thinking about the whole reversed hood deal that came on some of the 6ers at the time i posted that and yes ive seen it done so yea

its ok, lol. and yea that would look like absolute a$$. i say one with that once and yea....dont try that. if you have a reverse scoop then there will be no bolting a gt scoop on top.
