BakoLuke -> 1978 Mustang II (8/26/2007 7:30:58 PM)
I took the '66 to a car show last night and i was taking a picture of a '78 mustang II and the owner came running up and asked if he could take a picture of me taking a picture of his car. He couldnt believe anyone like his car. haha

i dunno if this is a good thing cause people actually want to take pictures of II's, or if its a bad thing cause nobody else wants to take pictures of II's [:D]

dont the pinto and mustang 2 share alot of parts tho. i wouldnt mind one if the aftermarket was bigger for them.
my77stang -> RE: 1978 Mustang II (8/28/2007 8:33:38 AM)
they are supposed to be built off the same platform, but i dont know which parts would actually swap? probably random crap like a window crank or something [8D]

Hey like anything you either like them or you dont. It's like women...you either like fat chicks or you dont. Some do some dont. As far as the II... they are just under appreciated and maybe pert of that is due to thier lack of power from the factory. And who cares what other people think of your car. Anymore when I show up at an event the car gets alot of looks because you just dont see as many of them anymore. Hell....at ford carlisle out of thousands of mustangs there are usually only about a dozen II's. And as for the aftermarket...they are coming around.
