well i just downloaded photoshop... dont really know how to use it, but ive been messing around with it all afternoon and figured a few things out, is it just me or would my car not look too bad lowered with stocker wheels on it.... i dont think it looks bad at all. or is it just the angle of the shot?

You just got Photoshop and you did that?! Dang, quick learner, haha it took me forever to do stuff like that! Anyways, I've been wondering the same thing cause rims and tires are expensive, but it would be nice to have a drop.
I dropped my 6 & love the handling/stance improvements. When you do this, remember it's best to change the shocks/struts & spring isolators all at the same time (that way you're only putting in the labor once.) If you're going for anything over 1 to 1 1/2 inch drop, you'll need caster/camber plates as well to correct your front end geometry (camber). I did the installation/labor myself & ended up spending around $500 on the parts, so it's not cheap.
well when i get back from the desert, im gonna keep it for a few months, since it will be paid off, so i would idealy like to drop it with the pro kit, and then sell it afterwords, just to set it apart from other V6's... to make it more appealing than the average sixer. thanks for the compliments, i guess my rookie photoshop skills didnt turn out too bad. haha when i get back, ill be sure and post up some pics of the new Mach 1

I'm considering selling my car too and rather than focusing on performance like I was doing I'm trying to get this thing looking nice so it'll look better and net a little more if I decide to sell it! Tail light outlines, decklid vinyl, gt hood, gt bumpers, and (eventually) my headers are coming in. Most people wouldn't care that I installed a 25% UDP for Horsepower, but if I put a nifty little scoop on the hood and some vinyl on the back, that should set it apart from the others!

You know that is the complete opposite of what car-buyers want right? 90% of the world wants STOCK cars, unmolested. The more you do to it, the more you are narrowing down your market. When you want to sell, it will have to be someone who plans on doing those mods, OR because they are already done they are just going to offer you less than you want to get for it. Just letting you know...
That's what I was saying, I know most people won't want that kind of stuff, but if I go for looks, then it just stands out a bit more from the rest of the Mustangs. I know when I was looking for my car I didn't want a car that had been modded because it gives an idea of how it's been driven - hard.

Yea, but stupid people will see appearance mods and THINK it was driven hard. You never know though. I don't plan on selling my car ever now, so I don't really have to worry about it.
Doh! Well then I won't sell to a stupid person! I know what you're saying, I'm just hoping if/when I do sell, the appearance mods will help it sell a little bit better (to the right crowd), and if I don't, it always looks nicer as I'm cruising around in it!
It will look better and worse imo if you lower it with stockers if you know what I mean lol. But I would much rather have a lowered stang with stockers than a 4x4 with custom wheels.
like laserred was sayn, anything. performance, apperaance, anything at all will drop the value of your car. so if your planning on selling it anytime soon i wouldnt touch it. leave it stock.

well.. not ANYTHING. if you have a built motor in it with low miles, it's going to bring the value up quite a bit. nowhere near what you paid for the motor, but it certainly won't depreciate it under the blue book.

true, but anything most of us in the v6 section will do. lol, sure there are a few guys who will go all out but most of us do bolt ons..and thats about it.
