So, I managed to run better last night, 13.23 at 106.97mph. The 60 was 2.183 though. That 2.78 1st in the 4 speed and the 3.00 gear just aren't putting the power down to go 12's. It rockets outta the hole for the first few feet(for 225 wide street tires anyway, those traction bars work well), but the 302 is torquey and the clutch just starts to slip after like 10-15 feet. It's a Centerforce DF so it still handles it well, but even then I'm still not able to put all of my power down. With better gearing and/or a 5 speed it could go 12's without too much effort. Next project I suppose.

Oh well, at least it was a blast last night, Famoso has the ANRA Nostalgia drags today, so there were a TON of fast cars last night. The place was a total zoo. They had like 4 funny cars, one of them went 6.50's I think. And there was a nice little 32 Ford Nitro Coupe, but he slapped the wall about half track. A bunch of fuel altered cars too. I only managed to get 3 runs, and it was like an hour and a hlaf to 2 hours between runs, so plenty of time to watch. Something happened to one of the dragsters too, but not sure. He either went off the end of the track or rolled or hit the wall fast the finish. They took about an hour to get it out though, had to tow it out. With all the cars they had out there it was great

Who cares how much horsepower it has, all that matters is how fast it goes!

Best run 13.23 at 106.97mph with a 2.183 60'
Times from before tune and driver mod.
