Been trying to find and read casting numbers to see if I really have the engine I thought I did but they don't make sence to me, I know what they should look like, here is what I have found.....

well what engine did you think you had? i can tell right off from that second pic its a 60 deg. V6 (2.8)
the number on the intake is the intake casting number, im not sure which number that is on the front - but your block (engine) casting number should be down on the side of the block somewhere. im not exactly sure of the location on the 2.8's

no problem. FYI offenhouser makes a 4bbl intake for that motor, would be nice with a little holley 390 4bbl on there. better gas milage if your driving easy and more balls when you romp on it

FYI, they are a pain in the ass to find cause nobody carries offy stuff and thats an oddball piece, but racerwalsh carries 2.8 goodies - so thats your first stop most likely. come to think of it, P.A.W. carries them too, but you have to have a catalog which is like 10 bucks to be able to find it there (their website fails, but the catalog is thick like a city phone book so its worth it).
