more than likely the internal grease seal has gone dead and let grease ontothe motor brushes, classic ford problem, I had the clean the drivers side motor last year. The usually run twice as fast afterwards

if it wasn't too long ago that ford fixed it i would take it back to them and see if they can fix it again for free since its supposed to be fixed already. i had shop replace my drivers side motor and it stopped working 2 weeks after they fixed it, i took it back and they fixed it for free idk if ford works that way but i'd give it a try at least.

lucky.. at least you have one window that works.. mine both went out 6 months ago and were stuck down.. i had to pull the doors off and jump them with a battery..
i was told that my motors are fine but my wires are bad. i need to have them replaced. so now its ac all the way for me until i can afford to fix them.. no more fast food forme!

It was 99 degrees today on August 25, 2007 in Raleigh NC. I've got a 2002 mustang. I got in my car around 2:00 pm, let the windows down to let the heat out before turning on the AC and my driver's side window is stuck down now. As you can see I'm online now trying to figure out how I can fix it.

I got the window unstuck today. I did like one poster recommended and just hit on the motor a few times and it finally got unstuck. It took a while to move after verfyfying that the switch was getting a voltage. I used a grease gun to grease up every pivot pint I could get to to make it as easy as possible to move the window. I was lucky I got it fixed we have violentg thunderstorms here this time of year in the afternoons when the heat builds up.
