Alright Bullitt owners i need your help/opinions......I've got a black Bullitt with a full exhaust, chip, CAI, gears, shifter and only 4400 miles and i need MORE POWER.....I dont want nitrous so it looks like i need to blow it but is the V2 Vortech kit for the Bullitt the only option for us? is there any other kits or set ups that any of you have done or know of? or N/A applications? If so please help cause i cant find it......i want to keep it reliable..............thanks for the input

I think 2 cheaper routes to go, especially if you work on your car yourself, is cams and heads. You can send your heads off and have them machined if you have another ride. When they come back slap cams in them. Forge your bottom end, get some pistons with valve reliefs in them so you can use a stage 2 or 3 cam. If you plan on going FI, all this stuff will help out greatly when the time comes. If you know for a fact that your going FI, get blower cams instead of N/A cams. Me personally, have other plans for my bullitt's power. Good luck.

You can spend twice as much on bolt-ons as you will a blower and never approach the power you will get with a blower.

I would have to agree heads and cams woud make a difference especially if you got the bullitt intake ported but to get the gains you want a blower is the only way to go, im putting a kb in my car next spring i already have a cam but i didnt port my heads because i wouldn't be able to run much boost plus no company really makes performance heads for our cars because ford made our so well thats what ive heard from numerous people

cams will give you nothing down low, it will widen out your powerband though, but will be worthless with stage twos if your engine is not forged. The stock internals cant handle a 7000rpm redline. I would do a supercharger if i were you, cheapest and easiest way to go in the long run.
