I don't have the "post a pic" system figured out, so you can just cut and paste or click on the link.

Hope these help someone here!

What kind of brace does that '66 have??

doc540 -> RE: Pics of correct '65/'66 Inline 6's (8/21/2007 8:38:00 PM)

That's a good question!

I have absolutely NO clue.  That car was entered in an MCA event locally and was supposed to be ultra correct and stock.

Anyone here know exactly?

The additional braces that sort of follow the firewall-shock tower brace (pre-export brace) are those used on a 1966 Mustang convertible. Overall, nicely done. I won't get pickey.

haha....I expected someone here to spot a few flaws under there.
And thanks for the explanation.  Come to think of it, it WAS a ragtop.

Wish my 65's 200 cid was that clean.  Nice.

Those are two amazingly clean engine compartments.

Yes, that is a convertible car, so it has the convertible brace.

Yeah, that's the vert brace.  I like how the air con compressor is on the other side of the engine so that you don't need that pulley to take up the slack on the belt.  Damn nice looking engines.  Stuff you see at MCA shows.  But, these are not drivers, they are trailer queens.  What a waste of a perfectly good Mustang.
