As the title suggests, what would you do with $5000 thrown into a V6 99 Mustang with about 87K miles? This is the budget my friend has with his mustang and he's looking to put it entirely towards power. I've done my search, but things are a bit hazy as to what everything costs. The thing is that everything would have to be included in that $5K including install and tuning. I know that there are some supercharger and turbo kits available. Would engine transplants fall under his amount? Thanks in advance for the help.

All he has now is a dual intake. The Turbo plan will push him over his budget. It's funny how $5000 seems like a lot of money, but it's really not. But of course, we're starting with a difficult engine. As much as I'd like to do the turbo, I think that the supercharger might be more inline with our fincnaical restrictions. I'm thinking the procharger centrifugal supercharger from www.rpmoutlet.com. Apparently, he can be at 345 Hp with the intercooled kit. The thing we like most about it is that the unit is warrentied for 3 years and the kit seems well put togather. The ease of installation is also a plus point. If we have money left over, we'd like to put that towards some nitrous. What do you guys think? Remember, we have to pay for the install also. The drivetrain will be dealt with at a later time.
Where would I find more information about the Stage 4+ Hi Po power pack? We're also being told that we can do a single turbo kit for about that price too. This is great advice, guys! Keep it coming.
