Default Flasher relay?

Not sure whats going on with the flasher right now- its not a frequent thing, but its really annoying when it does happen

Whenever I push the turn signal up or down- it will sometimes "stick" meaning there is no flash just an arrow on my dash and the flashers lite up..

hope this makes sense- its late- almost forgot about asking here- so im doing this while dead tired...

Is it the flasher relay or something more?- i just wanna make sure so i don't go spending large amounts of money

it may or may not be. If a light burns out, it will do the same thing. If there is a bad connection, it will do the same thing... You might just have a buld that is going on you or it could be any of the above, or the flasher. My left turn does the same thing from time to time, its 12 yrs old and does alot of funny stuff.....

my car isn't that old though. its an 02 GT...

think the best bet would be to change the relay first, and go from there?

if you like throwing parts at something with out looking at it first go ahead, I would at leat pull the bulbs and check and clean the connections first. If it was the flasher you would have problems with both sides so it could be it, dunno.....
