06 Base Mustang Cd Radio upgrade to Shaker 500?

I just purchased an 06 Mustang v-6, no upgrades on the audio. :-) Very Pleased. However I regret the sound system. I see on ebay Shaker 500's for a reasonable price used. My question is can I replace my factory base CD deck set up with a Shaker 500. Will it work like plug and play. I understand I am missinga couple of speakers buy will it work? I really want the 6 disc changer and these units are going for around 100-200 dollars on Ebay. Less than if I went after market. Is the harness the same minus the extra speaker outlet? Any info is appreciated.
