Shoulda kept your old rims. And I hate our split dashes compared to the DD '01 and up version! Nice though, good condition. Have fun!

My sixer pulls strong...gt's are not fast dude, but nonetheless congrats..

All i think is that you sixer needed a gear and full exhaust.

BTW Our boy bryan(flash20) beat a 5MT 99-04 gt on a cruise today nasty...i think ryan just needed a few more mods.

They're faster than a sixer. Look at all the money you dumped into your V6 just to hang with a stock GT.

Anyways, that black car is sick. Have fun with it. Oh, and don't get magnapacks, they sound like poo poo.

yea that was me... he wasnt really happy when i told him i was on motor only.

Congrats ryan glad to see you finally got something u wanted.

xemeth i agree the gt may sound better. but the only thing i have to say is. if you are gonna upgrade to something faster  why with a gt's? seriously no disrespect to any gt's owners ive seen some quick 1's but just think about all the money and mods u have to do to make power.  imo the gt's look good and sound great but i wouldnt "upgrade" to 1. thats just what i think.

btw congrats ryan im sure you will like it

Thanks everyone, and I know the 2v isn't anything special, but I actually did something that would help me in the financial situation for school, because right now I do not have a job since I just moved.
And I know it may not be that much faster but I'm happy with the power. It gets me where I need to go and when I want to punch it, it'll get up and go. I'll have my toy when I finish college.

why does everyone try to say that the 6 is better than an 8? its not, i mean stock for stock, modified to modified the v8 will always be faster
i personally want to get rid of my 3.8 and drop a 5.0
but whatever
congrats on the sweet new ride

I don't feel like turning Durr's thread into a V6 vs V8 arguement.

hey man, that feeling you get when your head hits the headrest when you floor it, is that jump from 220 to 302 pounds-feet of torque at 4000 rpm
nice choice with the GT.  and BTW did those wheels come chrome/polished aluminum from the factory?(cant tell which one they are by the pic)  ive never seen that style in anything else other than the boring aluminum color. congrats on the new ride man, i cant WAIT till i get back from iraq so i can pick up my Mach 1.... drool

hmmm considering i got the sixer sept of 2004 for 13K at the door title in hand 25 miles on the odometer...dollar for dollar my car is still faster than a gt  lets see
2004 v6-13k
2004 v8-20k
money ive dumped in the six performance wise is 2,000+ 13K is 15k still cheaper than a gt.

well he bought his GT for 8500, 6500 less than your car + mods and you run right along side him.  who cares about then, this is now.  see?  i can do math too.

my car was paid off within a year brand new, and with the amount of cash i dumped into it, i should have bought a damn z06.
