Raced a buddy of mine the other day. We went out to an area down here where there is no one around. Original plan was to go down there so I could do some burnouts to waste what little was left of my tires before getting the new ones put on, but we decided to race a little first.
I have 4.30's, Steeda CAI, Steeda Tri-Ax, and welded in Magnaflow mufflers.
My buddy's (actually his wife's) car has a Tri-Ax and the same welded in Magnaflows (I let her drive my car to check the stuff out when I got it, and she liked them a lot, so they copied me, haha).
My friend was driving his wife's car, she was recording. I had my new drag radials in my car, and heavy 18's.
Here's the links to the videos, enjoy:
Race 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9y0yLX_4uM
- We both spun on this run, but I did not launch well at all and spun all of first and a good bit of second.
Race 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csaErZesSqQ
- We both spun again, but I didn't spin as badly this time around.
Race 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKOES5dmbhk
- I got a much better launch on this last race.
You have to love South FL weather. Where we were starting from, it was bone dry; but where the race ended, it was starting to rain, haha.
