Default 65 wont go into park

I have a 65 with a C4 tranny....when I put it into park.....sometimes it doesn't engage. My shifter is in the park position but the car still rolls?? I can hear something kinda "dragging" like its tryin to catch when I push the car but it still rolls?? I ook off the shifter cover cuz its from a 67 but that didnt do anything. I'm assuming its a linkage or sum'n.....if so, can someone post a pic so I know where to adjust

Thanks

Default RE: 65 wont go into park

Is your shifter 'sloppy', moving from side to side? If so, the bushing in the shifter are worn causing the arm going to the shift arm on the transmission to not fully engage.
