This one is Mills' younger brother, Mills is #46 this one #53, perhaps Mills should buy this one, then he will have one for his Son when he get old enough to drive.

I was looking at this one.....but the one problem I had with it was that it didn't have a dash plaque and had a blue ford oval on the back instead of the saleen symbol like mills's car.

I'll have to look this one up tonight.

Man that thing is beautiful!! Thats about how much I paid for mine with the same mileage too...I dont know if it wouldve been better to have an 06 3V or an 02 Extreme???

Wow.....the pictures of that Extremelook great on the overcast day. Black looks really deep! Looks like it has black interior too versus my dark charcoal (unless I'm color blind).

Good catch Igloo.....to be honest though, I've seen two other 02 Extremes with Ford ovals on the back right like this one. Maybe Saleen ran out of Ford ovals the day mine was being finished

As far as the dash plaque goes....the first owner of mine felt it necessary to remove mine as well. You can see where the plaque use to be though due to a little discoloring on the plastic there [:@]. I didn't sweat it though.....the first thing I did when I was looking atmine was contact Liz (when she was still around) to verify the VIN, color, etc.... It would have taken a lot more than a missing dash plaque to turn me away from the purchase once I found what I wanted

06....I think you win either way with your decision....I do know this though. The smile on your face may be a little different when you stick your foot in it and get 100 more rear wheel, supercharged horsepower in a lighter car (the 02 Extreme)

. On the flip side.....your friends might mistaken you for owning a diesel when you first start the Extreme [8D]...

WELL TO BE HONEST ALL 02-04 EXTREMES CAME WITH THE BLUE FORD OVAL ON THE RIGHT.. MILL'S CAR GOT REPLACED WITH THE SALEEN SYMBOL..MUST OF BEEN A ADD-ON FROM THE OTHER OWNER.. ITS A VERY NICE TOUCH..

MINES TOO..I ORDER ONE FROM SALEEN ABOUT 4-6 MONTHS AGO,BUT STILL HAVENT GOT IT IN YET..[:@][:@][:@][:@]

Good to know. I thought so, but mills' car threw me off.

Do the 02 extremes say "extreme" anywhere on the car or does the badge just say "supercharged" on the back?

I've always been confused by that. Saleen should make it apparent at a glance that it's a saleen extreme.

even on the newer ones...you really can't tell the difference between a S/C and an extreme unless you know what you're looking for.

if i had an extreme, i'd want to make sure everyone and their brother knew it was an extreme and had ridiculous power.

True, but sometimes it's nice to know you've really got something special while the rest of the world is unaware. You're driving that car and getting appreciative glances, which you enjoy. But better yet, you get to say to yourself, to them: "oh, if you only knew..."

I kinda like that!
