Hello! I am new to the forums. I have a 2001 Mustang and its been a really great car. I have a stupid question. Is there a place I can figure out what different parts of the car are named? I am pretty handy I just know nothing about cars. If I could figure out what the parts are called, I think I could install them myself and save a ton of money. For example I need a new vent cover for the ac vent in the dashboard. I have spent an hour looking that up, but apparently its not called a vent cover. how do I figure out what its called? Im also interested in the clear curved pieces that are in front of the headlights. If I get a couple things fixed, my car will look brand new. Thanks

Well I'm not sure exactly where, but one of your friends might be able to help you out. Just check with Ford, or go to Autozone, they should easily be able to help you out. And what clear pieces on the headlights are you talking out, the actual headlights? are they fogging? Check www.50resto.com they have all the parts like a/c vents, weather stripping etc... -Ryan

Welcome. I just searched for "dashboard vents" and found this thread: http://www.mustangforums.com/m_2371113/tm.htm About the headlight, you might search "headlight cover" and see what comes up.
