Welcome to the board! Please be patient and someone will chime in with more knowledge than I have. If you do not get the answers you are looking for in this forum, please see the 4.6 forum on the main page,

I am not sure on the pricing, but 7k for a car with 80k miles and a v-6 seems to be a little high. If it is a GT model and looks to be taken care of, the mileage is not bad. That is 10k for every year of its age, and most dealers consider that to be low. Also, if you are concerned about the paint, check inside the door jambs, under the hood, etc and make sure all the paint matches. This will be a dead giveaway if the car has been repainted another color. Are you looking at this car online, ebay, craiglist, autotrader.com? If so, please post the link and we may be able to provide some more information.
Like I said earlier, I am not sure about the information and what was sold as the 35th anniversary edition, but in 99, there were 19,634 Coupe GT's sold and 73,180 V-6 coupes sold. The blue was Atlantic and Bright Atlantic, I have no information other than that. Good luck.
