Default Ranger Header

Well I have one (thanks mopman93) and it just needs a little work.

I took the vent off, ported the inlets, and I had to drill out the dumb muther ****ing bolt that was on it (that was such a bitch to drill out with wood drill bits[>:]) But I got em out. I just need to run it to a shop to get some of the holes that I dont need welded up. And then I can rip everything apart and see if my down tube will line up with it, I might have to to a bit of modding to it so It will work

But anyway, here are some pics.....

^^^Thats the stupid gay bolt[>:]

Ported ^^

Well I couldnt wait to get the header welded so I ripped out my A/C, and unbolted my exhaust manifold. I also had to take a emission hose off that was connected and I plugged it. Well all I have to do is cut the bolts from the down pipe to the exhaust manafold cause they are rusted on there GOOD.

wow today was a bitch.... I busted my knuckles several times on old crusty ass bolts, but I got everything done that I planned on and started ahead on tomorrows project, lol. I got the header bolted up, but its not staying cause I have to get it welded, sanded and painted and then I can put it back on. And something thats really nice is the down tube bolts up perfectly! it moves the bottom flange back 8" so when I put my glasspack sidepipeback on, it will be past the pass. side door and in front of the rear tire. I have a few pics taken, but none with the header on cause my hands were too greasy and it was too dark out. But I have a few of the process

so tomorrow I am running to a shop to get it welded, and going to the auto parts store to pick up paint and some new boltsOh and i need some more gas, my car is EMPTY!! lol

Default Ranger Header (pics)

^^some hoses from the A/C (btw, the whole A/C system is for sale!! Everything is included, pump, hoses, the A/C cooler in front of the radiater, all fittings and everything are good, the only thing you will need if you have never had A/C is the pully that attaches to the crank pully to make it 3 instead of 2. it will work on all V-belt pullies (not serpentine), comes with all the brackets and hardware with is still good and should bolt right up, I would like $40 obo) but yeah the compressor alone weighed 34lbs[&:]I think I have reduced about 50lbs off my car from the header and A/C

^^ the exhaust manifold is disconnected there and still attached to the down tube

^^ my favorite tool
