How much for a new Mustang top?
 

I recently got my first car it's a 97 convertible, but theres to big holes on the back corners of the top. I've called two places about an estimate for it one place want's 575 and the other want's a grand. I was talking to a guy and he said the place that want's 575 does a quality job, but should I trust them? And how much is the average fix up for a new top?

Ask to see if they have any pictures of theyre work or refrences of past jobs. If they are a good place they should have atlease one of ether and you can talk to past customers.

We paid about a grand for our 95 replacement top, including glass. The installers have been in business at least 30 years and do quality work...that was more important to us than getting the cheapest price around.

If you don't mind me asking did they also replace the inside headliner? I'm kind of short on cash so the cheaper the better.
