Hey,car is looking great! I'm planning on a similar build for my '65 convertible. Would love to see any other pics you have. I saw in the "where do you live thread" that you are from southern IN. I grew up a few miles outside of Evansville. Well,Booneville to be exact.

Small world. My wife and I lived in Boonville for 10 years and recently moved to Newburgh. 1/2 way between Evansville and Boonville.

I will get more pics soon. There are some on my cardomain site if you want to look at those for now.

Thanks,
Brent

Yes,definately a small world. If I remember right,my parents would take us to the river in Newburgh to watch the boat races,or maybe that was Evansville, too long ago to remember. Anyways, welcome to the forum and thanks in advanced for any pics you have of your vert. By the looks of the one pic, that car is gonna have a wicked stance!

Here is the dash and the cowl. Will get the firewall pics later this week.
Quarters are off and everything treated with POR 15. Drivers quarter is finished (for now) and the outer wheel house and trunk outer are welded in.

The new wheel houses are widened and tacked in place. Everything fit very tight. The lip on top of the wheel houses and the spare tire notch remain so it should finish out nice and look stock. The rear valance will be welded in and smoothed to the quarter panels so everything behind was treated with POR15 first.
Next is the fuel cell and finish the trunk floor.

Thanks,
Brent

might be related. My dad was a gearhead and he had some cousins that were into cars.
Anyway, love the car!!!

Do either one of you Boonville guys know Jr. Blackford?  Is that rear end set up a kit or home built? Looks good!
