Both are auto, and both are bone stock. What do you think the outcome will be?
Thanks,
Also while we are on the subject i was looking up 0-60 times and i noticed that the new 07 altima 2.5s which is a 4 cylinder and 175 h.p.was rated to be about the same as a 97 camaro rs which is 6 cylinder and 200 h.p., is this possible? Any input on this?
Thanks man, BTW, are you referring to the V6 Altima when comparing the GT? Or is it the four banger?
OK I see what you mean...You have to remember that your going by engine techof ten years past....Engine development is a consistantly advancing..........Example, An LT1 Camaro (5.7L) engine produced 275-300bhp. Now you have a 3.7L six cyl. that Nissan is putting in the new Z's producing 300bhp...... With these engines now redlining higher in the RPM range, higher compression ratios,etc....big things can happen in small packages...

No problem, I was referring to the v6 altima against the Gt. The reason i brought up the v6 camaro and the 4 cylinder comp. was because i used to have a 97 rs camaro so that kinda caught my attention. But the way they are making cars these days it wouldnt suprise me too much if the 4 banger could hang with the 6 epecially a nissan.
Are you referring to an Altima Coupe or sedan?? Because the 3.5 Coupes only come in 6MT or CVT. And if you're referring to the Coupe, I honestly say it's a driver's race......
