Dan Reiner is still around, however, it makes sense with the future plans of Saleen and ASC to have the higher levels of management merged to have one team give direction. What Saleen and ASC will be able to do as a combined entity is really exciting for both new car AND aftermarket.

The Chris Theodore news is huge as well. Could be very, very good for Saleen to have him around. I'm excited to see what comes of all of this!

There was also the addition of Marcus, who was the father of the SRT program to the team as well. He will be working with product development and helping better market new vehicles and products!

That is great news for the compnay and for futuredevelopment of the product line. Question is, there are thousands of these cars that have already been bought that run the gamut from 84 to 07 now. How is the development of the market going to continue for those folks that will not be buying a new Saleen for the forseeable future?
I do recognize that you can't go backwards but I would hope that there will be some development of parts/ enhancements for the older generation of cars. I know where we are for 05 to 07 Cars I mean for 99-04 and earlier years.

Thanks

Great question. However, Jared may not own a crystal ball. Remember the new regime has been in place for a couple days. Time will tell.... and all of us will be watching with great interest!

Plans for aftermarket are pretty big right now, we are currently working on afew things for 99-04 as well as trying (not being real successful, but we are TRYING) to get some old fox body saleens back in here so we can get pictures, specifications and molds to reproduce body and interior parts for people who want to restore their older Saleens (If you know anyone who wants to help send them my way).

With Saleen SpeedLab and JDM Engineering entering into our current 2 year partnership you will probably see more kits for 94-04 popping up.

You know, as long as the Saleen web site continues to refer to "high density headlamps", it doesn't matter who's the president!

Note to Saleen, again: It's high intensity, stupid.
Note 2: "Headlamps" are the acetylene gas-burning lamps used by cars 100 years ago. Today, we use headlights.
