Default 1999 GT Wheels

I have a 99 GT it has factory wheels on it I didn't buy it from the orginal owner but these wheels were on it before I got it. The question is, everybody says they are V-6 wheels and not GT wheels. I know there were different GT wheels you could get is it possible that this car came from the factory with these wheels on?

Thanks. I bought the car with these wheels on it, so I'm not sure why the previous owner would want to swap out the original GT wheels for these? I have also heard from a couple people that during that year there was a "base" GT and a "premium" GT that offered different wheel options. Does anybody know if there is any truth to this?

those are definetely sixer rims. i believe that the premium and regular were the same design but one was just polished. the previous owner probably changed them out because he probably trashed the originals.

The original GT's wouldn't necessarily be polished, there are a painted 5-spoke for GT's. Check the tire size. The GT will have 245's.
