I've got a 98, I'll need new tires soon.  Mine have like a 60k mile warranty, but they suck.  The've only got like 7k miles one them, but I want to replace them anyway because they suck so bad.  I'll sell them on craigslist for 50 bucks for the set if I have to, they just majorly suck.  No wet traction at all, no dry traction either.  So,  I've got the stock 15" wheels, I belive they're 7" wide correct?  Whats the widest tire I can fit on it without risking failure?  I was thinking I could fit 225's on it, maybe 235's, but the 235's seem like they might be too wide.

you could use 255's easy I have 275/60's on my stock 15 inch 10 holes, they are 7 inches wide, they are a little wide but I only use them at the track.
