Just recently sold my Macbook and I had $1000 dollars to play with for my car. I was leaning on getting the AVIC D3, but I really wanted to get racing stripes, which I've been putting off for a while now.

Well......finally pulled the trigger on the racing stripes. I'm having them installed on 8/21. I went with a light metallic gold color. Getting the whole car done from front bumper to back. Pics to come later.

Also, I'm getting a Pioneer DEH-P6900UH installed on Friday. I currently have the stock CD radio unit (no MP3). I might pick up an external hard drive for this too, as it has a USB connection in the back. I don't own an Ipod.

Next on the list is side louvers.

BTW, I had 5 colors that I narrowed the stripes down to: Black, Silver, White, Gold, Lt Gold.

Thanks everyone! Well, I just changed the color of the stripes to Metallic Silver. I saw a picture of one (Redfire) with silver stripes on the Internet and it looked great. I was a little nervous about the gold, as I wasn't too sure what it was going to look like on the car. I'll post pics right after I get them on, which will be on the 21st.
