i used photoshop its acually a 3000gt top on the convertible.  it would need extensive body work and as u can see the back does not line-up.

just because you got it to work in photoshop doesnt mean that the roofs and everything between the two cars are the same size, both length and width.

looks like a good ides but it would be a bitch to make

and what do you mean by on a convertible u mean like a removable hard top like the thunder bird that you would need 2 people to take off and would have to store some where

oh man, i didnt notice that, yea they are very very ugly. if you coudl get the roof to fit somehow or do something similar that would be cool but keep the mirrors.

If you're going to anything that extensive and expensive you might as well just get the Saleen C-pillars instead.
They look pretty nasty.

also note the gas tank that is from a 3000gt aswell. and i was thinkin the convertible instead of the coupe since it will leave more room to work. and it will be molded in to the rest not removable. also somethin funny is that if u go the other way with the design it look harrible. lol

The convertible will be more work and money becuase you will need all the backing and re-enforcing of the frame to keep it solid.

actually i think a vert might be easier. just have to get the ENTIRE top off of a 3000 gt or whatever it is.  all the supports and all. then rip out the vert top and weld that in...after making all the necessary adjusments of course. but the vert would be the safest way becuase if you use a couple your messin up the unibody structure.
