Default 03' S/C for my 99Cobra???how much..

Hey guys, I know there has got to be someone onthis forums that knows of are has the info to were someone is selling an 03 Eaton S/C of there stock cobra, Does any one know of what someone might sell one for, or maybe were I could get one.. Also would it fit to me 99 Cobra, should be any problems?

Lets see, If i can remember right you have to change the intake manifold. Might want to beef up the bottom end because all the 99 cobras have a forged crank and thats it. NOTHING ELSE IS FORGED. Ecu upgrade. 03 fuel management. And i think that is it. I talked to my mechanic that was selling one and he told me thats what i needed to do. If i was you i would just go ahead and buy a vortec, paxton, etc.... Reason is you won't know how much hp that eaton s/c will get you. NOt worth spending all that money and it turns out to give you like 50hp or something.

unless its a heck of a lot cheaper to buy it and have it installed, go with a vortech or a procharger

I watched a ported 03 eaton go on ebay thursday night for 550$. I just sat and wished i had a cobra.[sm=sigh.gif]

Alot of 03 Cobra owners sell their Eatons because the factory intercooler works with Ken Bell and whipple etc, they bolt right on top of the factory set up, so you would be buying a supercharger without the intercooler, not cool at all.
