lol...anyways I have a 96 Cobra its black with black leather. It has a Cobra R hood, SR800 wing, H-pipe, mac cat-back, K&N FIPK, short throw shifter, saleen 18x9" rims (silver), intrax lowering springs, tokico shocks (adjustable)and 4.10 gears. I plan to rebuild the motor with JE 9:1 pistons, manley connecting rods, have the block o-ringed, then and a procharger (18psi) of coarse I plan to do all the nessary fuel and ignition mods. Also going to try the new hooker long tube headers and x pipe along with flowmaster 2 chambers.

Anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy a centerforce dual friction??? And a good billet steel flywheel???

Drop your c/r a bit more if you want to run 18 psi, that's some serious air. I'm thinkin more like 8.5~8.

I agree. Also, rethink about o-ringing the heads with 18 lbs. I'd rather blow a HG than a cylinder. There are HG's that are like o-rings, they have a metal ring around the cylinder that's stronger than a conventional HG, but those will blow before a piston/cylinder will. They're about $50 apeice.

thanks for the advice I will keep that in mind. 18psi will be just the start I plan to go all the way to 30psi over a span of five years. every magazine I have read says to o-ring them same with the mustang guys around here. but it is a good point. I am keeping it a 4.6 I am not going to bore it out to a 5.0 so cylinder wall thickness will be at maximum.
