I wouldn't mess with anything other than FRPP. Motive gears are cool if you have a competant tech do the install. Even with genuine FRPP gears these rear ends still tend to whine from time to time. I don't know anyone running yukon's on the mustang.

Nothing wrong with the Yukon gears they make a good gear. Most of the F150 guys i know use them.

I find it very amusing to be honest that the Mustang Crowd seems to ONLY endorse the FRRP gears and nothing else. There are plenty of good gears on the market.

Well i have my pony in the shop for 3 days now.6 sets of gears 2FRRP, 2 Richmen, 2Motive 3.73's and 4.10's and they all howl like crazy. They speed shop has done tons of gear changes. And they have never had a car that howl's like mine does. They have been on the phone with all 3Co's. And every thing specs out perfect with good pattern. I well call them Monday morning and have them try Yunkon gears.

take it to a different shop, and get a new bering kit, which should ALWAYS be replaced

richmonds are straight cut and WILL whine

I've got a bit of a sing at 55mph or so upon slight accel or decel...but from what I've read setting silent gears in this new 8.8 rear is rare...
