When I originally ordered my SCT tuner from Brenspeed and they ask you to list your current mods, I told them a catted X-Pipe. Now that I have an o/r H-Pipe, do I need to change anything or is it ok? Idk if the tuner needs to know if I deleted the cats or not...[&:]
no they dont change the tune. the only thing they do is turn off the o2's but if you dont have the light on your dash dont worry about it. I use mil eliminators and I havent thrown a code yet

Are you running a CAI without a tune! I thought that was frowned upon on the new 3Vs...
no waay!! ive got a tune from brenspeed. I was saying that when i asked them if they change anything for the exhaust they said they only turn off the o2's. at the time i was deciding whether or not to put the stock h back on so i told them to leave them on since i wasnt having any problems with the mil's
Here's the deal with the S197 Spanish Oak. If you change the airflow in any way, shape or form, you need to adjust your tune accordingly for maximum performance.

Oh, ok I got ya...I didnt see the tune in yoursig either soI assumed incorrectly...Have you got your car dynoed yet? Im curious to see how your numbers come out considering we havevery similar setups...
no i was going to do it at the mustang show last month because they had a dyno there last year and it was really cheap but they didnt show up this year. the closest place is 3 hours away so it wont be anytime soon.
Def need a new tune. There's a lot more airflow through the car now without cats.
On a side not, how doyou like the pypes o/r h-pipe? I might get rid of my bassani o/r x-pipe and get that instead. I had to put my stock h-pipe back on due to some warranty work and I really liked the deep tone to it...

Well at first I didnt like it, but I put a clamp over the actual H where the two pipes interconnect and woah!!! It sounds awesome now. The sound still sounds weird inside the car but I had a very trusty friend drive it in front of me, and as a bystander, I haven't heard a better sounding engine yet. It is awesome, I would recommend it!
