How To Check on '05 Order Status

I was browsing on another site and ran across a thread that tells how to use the Ford Automated system to check the order status of your new Ford. It is supposed to be used by dealers, but oh well.

You will need the following info. first before dialing the number.
1) Dealer Code. Its a letter than 5 digits. It said to drop the letter and just use the five digits.
2) Order # given to you by the dealer. Mine was only four digits.
3) Body style (t82 for V8) I don't remember the code for the V6, but it should be on the Vehicle Order Confirmation sheet given to you by the dealer.
4) Year of car.

After you have this info., call 1-800-962-3746, and it will tell you the status. You can also track it by VIN if you have one already.
