i have a suggestion that may help 2 members on this forum. what if we donate money to this guy through a paypal account set up by mellowyellow since he has all the GT takeoff parts that he needs. we will be helping one member sell his takeoffs and help another member finish an 07 restoration i think it would be awesome. i for 1 will contibute 20 bucks to the cuase. lets try and get this ball rolling.

Noble cause; I will contribute!

How?

BigDave is sending me his faux gas cap so I won't get the gold ones I saw on ebay.  I assume it says GT on it so I may need to modify it.  I'd rather not be a complete poser.  I'm just fine being a partial poser.

I have a V6 faux gas cap if you so desire. I am only on page 22 of the post (8-17-07)
and I might be missing that someone sent you one already by my post time.....
PM me if interested.

Its a shame he stopped posting. I sure would like to see what it ended up looking like!
Some of you guys must have Buddys address as you sent him parts.......how about a snail mail just to see if he is still alive?
Or maybe... he's just still out there driving it!

Yeah only brand bew cars with the title, and REALLY old cars can be brought to Mexico to be titled there. Atleast they are smart enough to try to prevent theft in SOME way.

Probably stole it off the lot, and then drove it to the border. That happens a lot, where they will steal it brand new and try to fake a title. Other than that they were better off selling it to a chop shop. The stock fenders, doors, and bumpers, and glass would have made it worth the effort of stealing it. Let alone a brand new interior.

Sorry Burnsy...
I was home early and felt like being a Goof.
I sure don't feel bad about hi-jacking this thing.
Something came up and made me think about this thread.

I was thinking maybe he was the one who actually stole the car seemed kind of suspicious that the bullet casing and syringes where still in the car when he bought it  "just thinking"

Looks like a fun project.  Prob looks a look worse than it is.  You should have it back in shape fairly easily.  Good luck

Something of that nature...

Hey, why not using that thread as an off topic segment.

Beats being locked, like some other thread I know.
And because of one morron, just one, that never has anything worth a damn to say anyway.
