I can do them in my F150 in the rain. You just need more practice. Like everyone said a nice roll forward and when the back end starts to slide crank the wheel the other way.

You didn't spin out because your car may not have enough power to just naturally spin out, and also, you have to slide into a spin out, you just can't turn the wheel and think that's what it's going to do like in games, you have to atleast be moving a little to make your back in come out.

My end comes out of I just stop, rev to 4k, cock the wheel, and dump the clutch.

But anyways, I didn't read the whole thread, but here's my .02. If you have the button for traction control, you have traction control. Press it and when it's lit up you have it off. Then stop the car, turn the wheel all the way to the left or right. If you have a manual, hold the clutch and rev to about 3500or 4k (maybe more), and let off. If it's an auto, powerbrake it. This should take you right into a spin.

My bro used to do donuts in his old truck by doing a massive burnout first, then he woud  turn the steering wheel all the way to the right and floor the gas pedal while letting go of the brake really fast.

If your car has traction control it will have a button to turn it off. (period) No button = no traction control
Also, it's easier to do a donut turning to the left vs the right because of the open diff. The right tire is the driven one so in a left hand donut it will be easier for it to lose traction.

loved that video...if i didnt wanna spend 500 bux on new tires i would be out there too

really just get goin about 15-20 depending on how comfortable u feel n how much room u have....make sure ur traction control is off n ur in 1st and gun it...u should spin pretty good...once ur break ur back end push on the brakes and continue to give it gas

It doesnt have the button to turn it off it that's what you mean. I think only the GTs have that.

some do 6ers do have that option but i thought if u didnt have the button u didnt have traction control or am i wrong?

If the button's not there, there is no traction control. So it's off all the time. I don't know why this is such a ****in' mystery to people.

It's not rocket science. If the button's not there, you obviously don't have the feature. It's like not having the cruise control button. You can't have cruise control without the button, cause then it'd always be on with no way to turn it off. That wouldn't work too well.
