I dropped mine over 1.5 inches all around & swapped the 15's for 17's.  Like the stance, enjoy the ride, love the look.  No complaints.

If you are talking about the different chrome pieces stuck here and there, I think they look out of place. Nothing to gain, just keep it clean and shined up with Armor All.
Wheels: I would try to find some used ones, and I really like the Bullit wheels, next to that maybe some 03 Cobra wheels- the chrome 5 spokes ones. 95 Cobra wheels are my third choice, but its up to you.

staggered rims look really nice if you drop your car with a rake. i might get some 18s in the back of mine someday. the only problem is then you can never rotate your tires.

Yes, but I just bought a starter kit, and replaced a lot of the black ribed plastic wire cover stuff with the blue covers and added a few here or there to dress up things a little.

Unless you go to car shows, I wouldnt worry about the engine dress up kit.

heres mine, nothing fancy. just put blue covers over some of the hoses and replaced the oil cap.
