the 69 looks like it has more meat to it and is definitely the heavier of the 2

also early 302 blocks are stronger than new ones, and mexican 302's are stronger than the early ones (with larger mains too)

i have a high out put 69 block in my 67 cougar and its a beast a whole lot better than my 88 or 84 block. and has so much more power than my 65 289 but thats a given
